Kontraindikationen
Bei folgenden Krankheitsbildern sollte die Orthese
nur in Absprache mit dem Arzt getragen werden:
Instabile Frakturen im Bereich der Hand, Lymphab-
flussstörungen, arterielle Durchblutungsstörungen,
postthrombotische Zustände, Hauterkrankungen
oder Hautirritationen; Offene Wunden im versorgten
Körperabschnitt sind steril abzudecken.
Bei Nichtbeachtung der Kontraindikationen kann von
der Unternehmensgruppe der Julius Zorn GmbH keine
Haftung übernommen werden.
Nebenwirkungen
Bei sachgemäßer Anwendung sind keine Neben-
wirkungen bekannt. Sollten dennoch negative
Veränderungen (z. B. Hautirritationen) während der
verordneten Anwendung auftreten, so wenden Sie
sich bitte umgehend an Ihren Arzt oder medizinischen
Fachhandel. Sollte eine Unverträglichkeit gegen einen
oder mehrere Inhaltsstoffe dieses Produktes bekannt
sein, halten Sie bitte vor Gebrauch Rücksprache mit Ih-
rem Arzt. Sollten sich Ihre Beschwerden während der
Tragezeit verschlechtern, ziehen Sie die Orthese aus
und suchen Sie bitte umgehend ärztliches Fachperso-
nal auf. Der Hersteller haftet nicht für Schäden / Verlet-
zungen, die aufgrund unsachgemäßer Handhabung
oder Zweckentfremdung entstanden sind.
Im Falle von Reklamationen im Zusammenhang mit
dem Produkt, wie beispielsweise Beschädigungen
des Materials oder Mängel in der Passform, wenden
Sie sich bitte direkt an den medizinischen Fachhandel.
Nur schwerwiegende Vorkommnisse, die zu einer we-
sentlichen Verschlechterung des Gesundheitszustan-
des oder zum Tod führen können, sind dem Hersteller
und der zuständigen Behörde des Mitgliedsstaates
zu melden. Schwerwiegende Vorkommnisse sind im
Artikel 2 Nr. 65 der Verordnung (EU) 2017/745 (MDR)
definiert.
Entsorgung
Im Regelfall ist das Produkt nach Nutzungsende über
den herkömmlichen Entsorgungsweg zu vernichten.
Bitte beachten Sie dabei die geltenden örtlichen / na-
tionalen Vorgaben.

Purpose
The JuzoPro Manu Xtec Palmar, made out of inelastic
materials with adjustable, partly removeable reinforc-
ing elements, immobilises the wrist in two movement
directions (ulna / radial and dorsal / volar).
The JuzoPro Palmar Xtec Rhizo, made of inelastic
materials with adjustable, removable reinforcing ele-
ments, stabilises the wrist and the metacarpophalan-
geal joint of the thumb.
Here is how to put on your
JuzoPro Manu Xtec Palmar correctly:
1. Open all three velcro fasteners on the top and pull
the straps through the buckles as far as the hook
and loop pad (do not open fully!). Now slip your
hand into the orthosis. As you do so, insert your
thumb into the opening provided (Fig. 1).
2. First do up the middle velcro fastener, then the
strap at the back of the hand, then the fastener on
the forearm (Fig. 2).
The orthosis is fitted correctly if it securely encloses
the wrist (Fig. 3). Please ensure the straps do not have
a constrictive effect and do not exert a too strong
(painful) pressure on the wrist. The orthosis can be
readjusted at any time by repeating step 2 above. The
stabilisation splints can be taken out and put back in
again via the slit on the side of the pocket (Fig. 4)
Here is how to put on your
JuzoPro Palmar Xtec Rhizo correctly:
1. Open all three touch fasteners on the top, as well
as the touch fastener around the thumb stub, and
pull the straps through the eyes up to the hook part
(do not open them completely!). Now slide your
hand into the orthosis. The thumb must be guided
through the dedicated opening (Fig. 1).
2. Close the middle touch fastener first, then the strap
at the back of the hand. Next, the closure on the
forearm and finally, the closure around the thumb
(Fig. 2 and 3).
Correct fit of the orthosis is guaranteed if it firmly en-
closes your wrist (Fig. 4). Please make sure the straps
do not constrict and do not exert excessive (painful)
pressure on the wrist. You can re-adjust the orthosis
at any time by repeating Step 2. The stabilisation stays
can be removed, and also reinserted, via an opening
in the pocket (Fig. 5).
Please note:
Only wear your orthosis when prescribed by your
physician. Medical aids should only be dispensed by
suitably trained staff in a medical products supply
store. The effectiveness of the orthosis can only be
guaranteed if it is applied correctly. The orthosis is
largely resistant to oils, ointments, skin moisture and
