Operation
• Minimum radius for operation:
1,020 mm / 40-3/16". The loco-
motive can negotiate this radius
only when the cars in the train are
coupled to the Telex coupler on
the tender.
• Figures of a locomotive engineer
and fireman included
• Additional detail parts such as
brake shoes for the trailing truck
and a short footplate to the tender
can be put on the model only when
it to be set up as a display model
or when you have a minimum
radius of no less than 3,000 mm /
118-1/8" for curves and turnouts.
• The engineer's cab doors included
with the locomotive an only be
mounted on the locomotive, when
it is to be set up as a display
model.

Only in operation with Delta,
AC or DC power
• Smoke generator on continuously.
It will only work when filled with
smoke fluid (Märklin 02420) and
when there is sufficient voltage in
the track. If you operate the loco-
motive for longer periods of time
without filling the smoke generator
with smoke fluid, the smoke gene-
rator must be removed to protect
it from damage!
Only in operation with
Märklin Digital / Delta:
• Sound effects of a two-cylinder
steam locomotive can be turned
on manually.
