Noise characteristic values
Measurement conditions
The values stated are emission values and are there-
fore not necessarily safe operating values. Although
there is a correlation between emission and emis-
sion levels, you cannot reliably deduce from this
whether additional safety measures are required or
not. Factors which can influence the emission level
currently at the workstation comprise the duration
of the effects, the characteristics of the work room,
other sources of noise etc., for example, the number
of machines and adjacent operations.
The permissible values per workstation can also vary
from country to country. This information should nev-
ertheless enable the user to make a better estimation
of dangers and risks.
Sound level at the workplace in dB
L
= 110,5 dB (A); L
= 95 dB(A)
WA
pA
A measurement uncertainty allowance K = 2 dB ap-
plies to the mentioned emission values.
Measurement performed in accordance with EN ISO
3744:2010.

7. Assembly

For packaging reasons your machine is not com-
pletely assembled.
Mounting the axis, fig. 3 - 6
Insert the axis through the hole in the wheel axis
suspension, as shown in Fig. 3. This is located on the
underside of the swivel. Now draw the washers and
bushes supplied onto the axis in accordance with the
sequence shown in Fig. 4. Now slide the axis through
the hole of the other suspension (Fig. 5). When do-
ing so, ensure that the grooves (5a) lie on the inside.
Now slide the bush with the washer sufficiently to the
side that the bush is over the groove. Now tighten
the threaded pins as shown in Fig. 6. Attention, the
bushes each have two threaded pins respectively.
Attaching the wheel axle, fig. 7
Place both wheels on the already mounted axle. Se-
cure each wheel with one washer 8.4 and one M8x20
screw each.
Attaching the switch unit, fig. 8
Attach the switch unit to the switch base.

8. Initial operation

Observe the safety instructions before the com-
missioning.
• All safety and auxiliary installations must be fitted.
• Check the rocker inlet for wear and replace it if
necessary.
• Check the rocker that it returns to its home position
autonomously.
• Check the saw blade for perfect fitting and correct
direction of rotation.
• Changeover, setting, measuring and cleaning op-
erations are only to be conducted with the motor
switched off. Pull the mains plug and wait for the
rotating tool to come to halt.
• The saw is constructed solely for the cross cutting
of firewood.
• Regardless of the diameter of the wood only one
work piece is to be put on the rocker.
• Attention! Do not saw faggots or multiple pieces
at once.
• Put curved wood on the rocker in such a way that
the curved-out side is directed to the saw blade.
• Ensure the machine is securely placed on solid
ground.
Note!
For workplace safety, protect from tipping or shifting
by securing the saw with screws or bolts to the floor.

9. Operation notes

ON/OFF switch (14) fig. 2
The machine is equipped with a safety switch pre-
venting the machine from being activated after a
voltage drop.
Turning on
Press green button I
Turning off
Press red button O
m Attention! The motor hums during and shortly
after the braking time. The switch must never be
operated during this phase. The motor may only
be switched on again after the humming sound has
stopped.
Rotational direction of the saw blade fig. 10
Ensure that the rotational direction of the saw blade
is the same as the rotational direction given on the
guard.
You can change the direction by placing a screw
driver in the slot provided in the plug collar and ad-
just the correct direction by moving to the left or right
applying slight pressure.
