move back the rim to
create the space neces-
sary to easily remove the
inner tube (Fig. 25).
Never hold onto the tool with your hand when moving it to the working position, it
could be crushed between the tool and the wheel.
To remove the rear bead, proceed as indicated in
Fig. 26, inserting the tool between the rear bead
and the rim and making the wheel move towards
the operator until the bead is up fully against the
front edge of the rim.
Insert the lever between the bead and the rim edge
and turn the turntable in an anticlockwise direction
until tyre demounting is complete.
When the beads come off the rim, the tyre will fall.
Make sure no one is in the work area.
This operation can be extremely dangerous! Perform it manually if you are absolutely
certain you can maintain the wheel equilibrium only.
For heavy, large sized wheels you MUST use a suitable lifting device.
