Start the machine with the main switch (A, Fig. 11)
and make sure that the hydraulic power unit motor
is rotating in the direction indicated by the arrow (A,
Fig. 12) which can be seen on the motor cap.
Otherwise, the rotation direction must be corrected
immediately in order not to damage the pump unit.
The engine machine operates with low voltage (24V)
with the exception of the hydraulic power unit
and the electric motor used for rotating the turntable clamp, which are powered by mains
voltage.
With the HD1300, operating the switch I fig.11a varies the rotational speed of the turntable
from 4 rpm to 8 rpm. This dual speed optimises machine use:
- high speed for wheels with small dimensions;
- low speed for wheels with large dimensions.
FOR WHEELS WITH A WEIGHT ABOVE 300 kG, IT IS RECOMMENDED TO USE THE
LOW TURNTABLE ROTATION SPEED. THIS IS FOR SAFETY REASONS.
For correct machine use and to ensure a longer service life, the translation control (S, fig.15)
for the tool holder case must only be used for approaching. All the other operations may
only be carried out using the turntable holder carriage translation control (P, fig.14).
Make sure that all parts of the hydraulic circuit are tightened correctly. If pressurised
oil escapes, it can cause serious injury.
HD1300 : Never lift the tool arm (M fig.11) if the tool unit (N fig.11) is not present.
The machine is equipped with devices that guarantee the operator's safety:
1. A guard behind the turntable arm prevents crushing between the fixed arm and the
mobile arm.
2. The hazard labels on the turntable spindle warn of the risk of crushing between the
spindle flanges.
3. A guard on the trolley with bushings prevents the risk of crushing due to the cylinder
that translates the trolley with bushings.
