Dynamic temperature difference
DIFF is a dynamically calculated temperature differ-
ence that is required between the primary and sec-
ondary side of the plate heat exchanger in order to
reach the desired domestic hot water temperature at
the current flow rate.
If there is active communication in the eBUS network, the recharging
setpoint relayed is PRI02 TANK TOP SETPOINT TEMP plus 5 K.
If the warm holding function is active, the temperature in the heat
exchanger is maintained at BAS01 DHW TEMP.SETPOINT plus minimum
temperature loss STE14 MIN. TDIFF CHILLER at the heat exchanger.
This prevents the heat exchanger from cooling down even after a pro-
longed tapping break and enables rapid domestic hot water control
when tapping recommences. If warm holding is not achieved after
WHF02 MAX SWITCH ON TIME, the function is suspended for WHF01 MIN
SWITCH OFF TIME.
In this mode, multiple stations can be interconnected for domestic
hot water preparation. In standby mode, all stations are hydraulically
separated by a zone valve ZV (L4/N/PE). The zone valve of the fore-
most station is always open.
Tapping active, SEK04 FLOW RATE DHW > STE15 MIN FLOW RATE. The
first station enters operation. If this switch-on threshold is reached
for a station, the second station is switched on. The switch-on
threshold corresponds to the speed of the primary pump and can be
adjusted KAS05 SWITCH-ON POINT CAS.. A defined time KAS03 TIME
LAG STATION must be exceeded in relation to this threshold. Both sta-
tions control the domestic hot water setpoint temperature at the
outlet sensor TWW, see
on page 36 .
