Principles of professional ironing

Professional ironing is the result of the combined action of three main elements:
• The steam jet
• The heated top with suction/blowing action (by pushing the steam button on the iron the
suction action is activated)
• A professional steam-generating iron
The combined action of the steam jet and of the suction/blowing ironing board will enable you
to achieve excellent results and save time. The steam jet will help you to rapidly eliminate
false creases, to purify and renovate your fabrics, removing nasty smells.
The heated surface keeps the ironing top dry, even if a lot of steam is emitted. The suction
enables you to hold the fabric firm on the ironing top and to remove the humidity it may
contain. The result is clean and dry garments ready to be put away, thus saving a lot of time.
The numerous optional accessories allow for an even more efficient ironing of your garments.
The Teflon soleplate prevents the iron soleplate from sticking to the fabrics, thus various types
of fabrics can be ironed at the same temperature. It is however advisable to carry out a test on
an unobtrusive part of your garment. The Teflon soleplate also avoids the shiny effect on dark
fabrics.
IMPORTANT: TO STEAM IRON, THE THERMOSTAT MUST ALWAYS BE SET AT THE STEAM
SYMBOL. OTHERWISE THE IRON IS TOO COLD, AND THE STEAM COMING OUT OF
THE SOLEPLATE COULD TURN INTO WATER. FABRICS WHICH DO NOT WITHSTAND
HIGH TEMPERATURES MUST NOT BE STEAM IRONED. IN THESE CASES, CARRY OUT
A TEST ON AN OBTRUSIVE AREA, EVEN IF USING THE TEFLON SOLE. IF IN DOUBT,
PLACE A DAMP CLOTH ON WOOL, VELVET OR VERY DELICATE FABRICS.
