Change the ironing board cover only when the board is cool or has cooled off as underneath
some of its parts may be very hot. The cover is machine-washable at 60° C.
The appliance must be stored in a dry place and, for safety reasons, must be used in dry
rooms only.
Before cleaning the appliance, disconnect the plug. Clean the appliance with a slightly damp
cloth. Keep the soleplate clean at all times. If you have used a Teflon soleplate, after cooling,
both the inside of the Teflon soleplate and the iron soleplate itself should be wiped dry with a
cloth.
Do not leave the Teflon soleplate to cool or dry on the iron, as humidity eventually will damage
it.
When using water rich in scale, it is advisable to rinse the boiler regularly (see page 10). In
case of particularly hard water, the operation must be carried out more frequently. The whitish
dirt, which comes out, is scale.
Do not use any detergents or descaling products!
Due to its framework, the boiler cannot be completely emptied and any chemical substance
residues could damage its mechanical parts and your garments.
