6. Steam-ironing
- As soon as the green "steam ready" light (22) comes on and the iron warming-up light on
the iron (11) goes off, the active ironing board is ready for use.
- Push the "steam" button (4) on the iron.
Warning: The steam emitted is very hot.
Interruption of the steam emission
To interrupt the emission of steam simply release the "steam" button (4) on the iron. When you
are not ironing place the iron on the iron-rest mat (2).
Steaming (only position ||)
Be sure that the foot steam switch has been connected to the steam generator.
Press the foot switch (19) in order to distribute vapor. The steam spreads on the whole surface of
the ironing board, enabling you to eliminate creases without using the iron, since not all clothes
need a perfect ironing and many cannot be ironed, ex. wool jumpers, silk or polyester scarves,
pressed t-shirts, pile polo-shirts, sweatshirts, etc. To stop the steaming release the pedal.
IMPORTANT: after steaming it is necessary to use the suction function to dry and fix the ironing.
Put the switch on the I position, then keep the pedal pushed. The ironing board starts vacuum-
ing drying your clothes and eliminating the steam inside the surface of the ironing board.
Steaming plus ironing (only position ||)
To iron difficult fabrics like linen, cotton, jeans, as well as very dry fabrics: the steaming will moist
the garments and the iron will iron and fix the fabrics professionally.
Put the switch on the II position. Push the button of the iron, and the pedal to steam while iron-
ing.
After ironing, turn the iron off and stop steaming putting the switch on O (do not press on the
pedal).
Then, put the switch on the I position and keep the pedal pushed. The ironing board starts vac-
uuming drying your clothes and eliminating the steam inside the surface of the ironing board.
Going back to normal mode
It is not necessary to use the pedal. You can blow and suction automatically using the switch
on the general control panel (see general instructions for use).
