Setting Up, changing and Deleting Emergency Numbers

1. Call up Menu  Extra  SOS (key 2)  Emergency number (key 2).
2. A list with emergency call contacts 1 to 5 will appear. If no contact is
stored, <Empty> will appear next to the list number. To store an emer-
gency number, select a list number and open it with the key Edit.
3. Enter a name into the upper input field using the keys (see the "Basic
Functions" chapter, "Entering Texts" section).
4. Use the arrow key to jump down to the next input field and enter the
associated call number with the dialling code and country code if appropri-
ate.
5. Confirm your entries with the key and press the key again to save the
contact.
6. After this, the list with the emergency call contacts will be opened again
and you can then store further emergency numbers here.
• You can also replace existing entries with others in the manner described
above.
• To delete an emergency number from the list, select it and call up Option
 Remove.

Writing and Saving Emergency SMS

When you write and activate an emergency SMS (see the "Activating Emer-
gency SMS" section), this SMS is sent to the first valid mobile phone number
which you have saved as an emergency call number shortly before the emer-
gency call is made.
1. Call up Menu  Extra  SOS (key 2)  Emergency SMS editor
(key 3).
2. A text entry window will open up. Enter a text (see also the "Basic Func-
tions" chapter, "Entering Texts" section) and confirm this with the key.
3. Press the key again to save the text.
At this point, you also have the possibility of discarding the text by using
the option Back and returning to the SOS menu.

Activating Emergency SMS

For the emergency SMS to be sent automatically when an emergency call is
made, this function must be activated.
