– Send text message: Write and send an SMS to the chosen contact (see
the "Text Messages (SMS)" chapter)

– Edit: change the contact details
– Delete: delete the contact from the memory
– Copy: copy the contact to the SMS or phone memory
– Move: move the contact from the SIM card to the phone memory or
from the phone memory to the SIM card
– Phonebook settings: Here you can make various phonebook settings.

Setting Up Speed Dial

You have the option to save call numbers which you often use on keys 2 to 9.
After you press the corresponding key, a connection to the call number is
then automatically established.
To be able to use the speed dial function, contacts must have been stored in
the phonebook of your mobile phone (see the "Phonebook" chapter, "Saving
Phonebook Entries" section).

Assigning Speed Dial Keys

1. Call up the phonebook by using the
to select Menu  Phonebook (key 2).
2. Open Option  Phonebook settings (key 8)  Speed dial (key 2) 
Set number (key 2).
3. A list containing the key numbers and the corresponding assigned num-
bers appears. If a key is not assigned, <Empty> appears next to the key
number. Select a key number and press the key (Edit).
We recommend that you assign particularly important contacts to the
VIP keys 7 and 9.
4. The phonebook is opened. Here you should select a contact and press the
key twice to save it under the chosen speed dial key.
5. If you wish to, you should assign the other speed dial keys in this way. You
can also replace existing entries with others.
