Inserting/Replacing the SIM card

cAUTION!
❐ Handle the SIM card with care as it may be damaged if it is rubbed or bent.
Keep the SIM card away from children and animals.
❐ Make sure that the mobile phone is switched off (see the "Basic Functions"
chapter, "Switching the Mobile Phone On and Off" section) and the USB
cable is not connected before you replace a SIM card.
2. Replace SIM card: If you want to replace a SIM card which is already
inserted and the battery is inserted, remove the battery from the battery
compartment. Wait a few seconds before carefully pulling the inserted SIM
card out of its holder.
1. The battery compartment cover (2) is located on
the back of the phone. Slide it a little away from
the emergency call button (1) and then lift it off
the mobile phone.
3. Now slide the SIM card with its chip pointing down
under the metal clip in the corner of the battery
compartment. The slanted corner of the SIM card
must be aligned with the centre of the battery
compartment.
4. Insert the battery (see the "Inserting the Battery"
section), place the battery compartment cover
back onto the mobile phone and slide it shut as far
as it will go.
