Emergency call Function

cAUTION!
❐ The emergency call function is only available when the SIM card is insert-
ed. In addition, prepaid mobile phones have to be topped up with enough
credit (in order to use this function).
❐ The mobile phone cannot determine whether the call is picked up by a
human or an answering machine, and always treats both as a successful
emergency call! .
❐ If you wish to store the emergency numbers for services such as emergen-
cy medical aid, police, fire brigade etc. as emergency numbers, you must
first notify the respective organisations. No liability will be accepted for
any costs arising from calls made to emergency services by mistake.
You can store up to five emergency call numbers in your mobile phone
(relatives, neighbours, friends...), and in an emergency these numbers will be
dialled automatically in the order you stored them when you press and hold
the emergency call button (1) on the back of your mobile phone.
In addition, an emergency SMS will be sent to the first valid mobile emergency
call number just before the emergency call is made. A loud acoustic signal
will sound continuously during the emergency call, so that any passers-by will
realise that you are making an emergency call! If the receiver is not picked up
at the first number called, the next number in the list will be called automati-
cally.
To be able to make use of this function, you must set up the emergency call
numbers, write an emergency SMS and activate the emergency call and the
emergency SMS function.

Switching the Emergency call Function On/Off

You can activate and deactivate the emergency call function. The emergency
call function must be activated for an emergency call to be made.
1. Call up Menu  Extra  SOS (key 2)  On / Off (key 1).
2. Select On to activate the emergency call function or Off to deactivate it.
3. Confirm with the key.
