Setting the Time/Date

The current time is shown in the middle of the display on the start screen.
This may need to be set before the mobile phone is first used and the display
activated.
1. On the start screen, use the key to call up the Menu.
2. Then select Settings (key 5)  ­ P hone settings (key 1)  Time and date
(key 1).
3. Use the arrow keys to select the city which is closest to your location,
and confirm this with the key.
4. Go one list entry further down to Set time/date and confirm this with
the key.
5. Enter the current time: HH = hours, MM = minutes (e. g. 08:45).
6. Move on to the date setting YYYY/MM/DD (year/month/day, e. g.
2011/09/20).
7. Go one list entry further down to Daylight saving and use the
select whether the time should automatically be switched to summer or
winter time.
8. Confirm the entries with the key.
9. Go to the following list entry Set format. Here you can select whether
the time should be shown in 24-hour or 12-hour mode (e. g. 16.20 or
04:20 PM). In the 12-hour mode, AM represents morning and PM repre-
sents afternoon.
10. Use the arrow key to move down to the Date. Here you should choose
the format in which the date should be displayed (e. g. DD MM YYYY).
11. With the last list entry Date separation, you can choose a separator
between the day, month and year.
12. Confirm the entries with the key.

Displaying the Time

You can stipulate whether or not the current time should be shown on the
display.
1. Call up Menu  Settings (key 5)  Phone settings (key 1)  Display
(key 5).
2. Scroll to the item Show date and time.
