6.3 Establishing the electrical connection

Dangerous voltage due to defective cables.
• Check all live cables and connections for proper installation and damage.
• Replace any damaged, deformed or worn parts.
NOTICE
• Before an electrical connection between the product and the power supply is established, check that the operating
voltage specified on the nameplate matches the actual voltage.
The mains cable and mains plug are pre-mounted. For the mains voltage and the fuse protection, please refer to:

1 Plug the mains plug into the mains socket.
6.4 Controlling the volume flow
A lever on the extraction hood can be used to manually control the volume flow. When the lever is vertical, the valve is open
and the extracted welding fumes flow unimpeded.
If the lever is horizontal, the valve closes and limits the volume flow of the extracted welding fumes.

16 Pull the extraction hose over the profile tube until it is over
the metal flange.
17 Place the loosely attached clamp over the extraction
hose and use the screwdriver to secure it in place.
18 Fold over the bottom edge of the rubber sleeve so that
the clamp is covered.
