Remote control functions

a) Control alignment
Upon delivery, the remote control transmitter of your helicopter is set to mode 2. However, you can adapt the transmitter
to individual control habits. The following control modes are available for this purpose:
Mode 1: Pitch and yawing functions are controlled with the left control aggregate, roll and pitch functions with the right
control aggregate. For this mode, the two control aggregates have to be converted from neutralising to non-neutralising.
Please refer to the operating instructions of the remote control.
Mode 2 (delivery status): Pitch and yawing functions are controlled on the left control aggregate, roll and pitch
functions with the right control aggregate.
Mode 3: Pitch and roll functions are controlled with the left control aggregate, yaw and pitch functions with the right
control aggregate. For this mode, the two control aggregates have to be converted from neutralising to non-neutralising.
Please refer to the operating instructions of the remote control.
Mode 4: Roll and pitch functions are controlled on the left control aggregate, yaw and pitch functions with the right
control aggregate.
Note: Switching from mode 2 to another mode has no influence on the possibly programmed model memory. All
mixers and setup values are taken over 1:1 and merely assigned to the new control aggregates.
b) Programmable functions
Attention!
The remote control is already adapted to the helicopter and set for the first flight attempts in the factory.
Therefore, the following descriptions of possible programming steps only serve for control purposes prior
to the first flight and afterwards for adjustment to your personal flying habits.
We therefore strongly advise against changing any settings prior to the first flight. For changing the settings,
please refer to the corresponding instructions in the remote control's operating manual.
Attention!
Some setup values, e.g. the control/correction of the pitch values - must not be performed in ready to fly
state, e.g. because the engine would start up inevitably when actuating the pitch function on the transmitter.
Acute danger of damage to persons and/or assets!
To safely perform these settings without unnecessary programming, we recommend detaching the three
plug-type connections motor/motor speed adjuster. To do so, you should code the respective contacting
pairs with different colours beforehand to relocate them after performing a control/correction and thus
achieve the correct rotation direction of the engine.
To perform settings on the transmitter, put the transmitter into programming mode. To do so, switch on the transmitter.
Press the "Mode" button (ill. 3, pos. 1) and the "Select" button (ill. 3, pos. 7) simultaneously for 3 seconds.
