2.4 Operating and checks

Please check:
•the oven has been installed correctly, it is stable and perfectly levelled;
•Wiring has been performed correctly, the electric cable is in compliance with the law, that an omnipolar
switch has been installed, and that both this and the facility's electrical system are in proper working
order;
• the water supply and steam discharge system are efficient (check for leaks);
•the cooking fumes extraction system and, if it has been installed, the hood;
•the efficiency of the drain, if present.
At this point, turn on the oven following the operating instructions and make sure it works proprerly.
Functioning check
Turn on the oven following the operating instructions and check:
•The proper functioning of the heating system, the aeration system of the room, the automatic controls
and checks, and make sure all functions are working properly;
•If necessary, see
"Troubleshooting"

2.5 Safety devices

The oven features the following safety and protection devices:
• Oven cooking chamber safety thermostat; if the oven cooking chamber overheats, this device trips,
cutting off the power supply to the heating elements .
Safety thermostat (
panel has been removed to reach the part (see "How to replace and adjust some units" section). Before
performing this operation, make sure the power supply has been disconnected;
•door switch that switches off the oven when opened, heating system and chamber fan-motor will be
disabled;
•protection grids to prevent the access to moving parts in the cooking chamber;
WARNING!
Resetting operations must be performed by qualified technical personnel, and only
once the problems responsible for tripping have been solved.
