2.3.5 Mount the remote unlocking mechanism
- This option is used in cases where the red button (22) on the sliding carriage (17) in the aluminium guideway profile
(16) is not easily accessible (e.g. if it is too high). Fig. 8
- Determine the position of the actuation lever (18) so that:
• it is easily accessible
• it can be reached with the shortest possible Bowden cable from the uncoupling mechanism.
- Screw the actuation lever (18) onto the door, using the included fixing material. Fig. 8
- Thread the steel cablel (19) through the holes drilled into the sliding carriage (17) and into the guide piece (20).
Seize the cable end and mount the screw nipple (21). Fig. 9
- Withdraw the steel cable (19) until the red button (22) moves.
- Mount the angle (23) using the drilled screw (24) and the cable guide (25).
- Lay out the Bowden cable sheathing (26) along the drawbar (27) in a direct line towards the drilled screw (24) of
the actuation lever (18), without bending it. Fig. 8, Fig. 10
- Push the steel cable (19) through the Bowden cable sheathing (26) up to the drilled screw (24) and the axle (28).
