English
• It is the customer's duty to carry out all maintenance
operations on the heat pump.
• Only trained and qualified personnel can carry out all
maintenance operations.
• Do not try to repair malfunctions or move the machine
without the help of the personnel in charge of the unit.
• If the unit needs to be disassembled, protect your hands
with protective work gloves.
At start-up and after a few days of operation, check the tightening of the
heat exchanger flange bolts, which can be easily accessed thanks to the
removable flange cover caps.
11.2
Monthly checks
• Check general conditions of the unit.
• General check of power consumption during heat pump operation.
• General check of heating element functioning,.
11.3
Quarterly checks
• Check the tightening of all electrical connections.
• Check calibrations and programming parameters.
• Check the status of the contacts of fan and compressor.
• Check filters on hydraulic circuit and aeraulic ducts.
• Check the wear status of the magnesium anode to plan replacement.
• Check the operation of the system safety valve.
• Check the preloading of the system expansion tank.
• Check general conditions of the unit and of the system and check for
leakages.
11.4
Annual checks
• Check refrigerant charge.
• Check filter drier.
• Check the state of conservation of the refrigerant circuit.
• Check heating element.
• Check the tightening of bolts, nuts and hydraulic connections that
vibrations could have loosened.

Operation

The maximum operating temperatures indicated in this document and
on the nameplate of the device shall be considered as the maximum
temperatures that the boiler inner lining can bear. It is also reminded that
the maximum operating temperature must comply with the standards
concerning energy consumption reduction. For Italy, see the provisions
by Law 10/91 and subsequent implementation and integration Decrees.

Fault location

Before contacting the technical assistance in case of heat pump's
anomalous behaviour occurring without the triggering of the alarms
described in the "Alarm Table", first check if the fault can be easily fixed
by referring to the following table:
FAULTS
The heat pump
does not switch on
The compressor and/or fan
do not start
Repeated start-ups and
stops
of the heat pump
The heat pump
continues operating
without ever stopping
The system produces
vibrations and unusual
noises
The heating element
does not switch on
In general, before calling technical assistance, switch the unit off and on
again.
Caution! If the operator was not able to repair the anomaly, switch
the machine off and contact the manufacturer or an authorised
technical assistance centre and provide the details of the unit as
displayed on its nameplate.

Disposal

At the end of the product life-cycle, its components must be disposed of
in compliance with current regulations.
In particular, the European Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and
electronic equipment, requires them to be disposed of outside of the
normal municipal solid waste stream.
Decommissioned equipment must be collected separately to optimise the
recovery and recycling rates of their materials in order to prevent damage
to health or environment. Metal parts must be handed over to operators
authorised to collect metallic materials for recycling purposes, while non-
metallic components must be handed over to operators authorised to
dispose of them. If disposed of by the end customer, the products must be
managed as urban waste and therefore in compliance with the municipal
regulations of the relevant municipality. In any case they should not be
managed as household waste.
