7.8 Heating element and thermostat with manual reset
The heating element is immersed in the boiler through the 1"1/4 sleeve
on the bottom and it is equipped with a safety thermostat with manual
reset.
To manually reset it, press the white pin with a tip.
Manual reset
To replace the thermostat with manual reset:
1. Make sure that the unit is off and disconnected from the mains.
2. Remove the plastic protection
3. Disconnect the electrical connections from the thermostat of the
heating element and from the counter-fl ange
4. Remove the thermostat from the heating element and replace it with a
new one.
Repeat the operations in the reverse order to restore the electrical
connections and the plastic protection, making sure to observe the
order of the connections.
To replace the heating element and the magnesium anode, proceed as
follows:
A. Perform the operations described above (at points 1, 2 and 3);
B. Make sure that the tank has been emptied from water;
C. Unscrew and remove the heating element with magnesium anode;
Warning: remove the heating element carefully, making sure not to
scratch the internal coating of the sleeve. In case of contact with the
tank's internal walls, never force the removal.
D. Replace the heating element with magnesium anode and screw it
again making sure to restore the gasket sealing and check that it is
intact.
Repeat the operations in the reverse order to reposition the heating
element, the thermostat, the electrical connections and the plastic
protection, making sure to observe the order of the connections.

7.9 Aeraulic connections

To carry out the ducting, remove the upper grid using pliers and/or a cutter.
CAUTION:
The product may require the installation of aeraulic ducts.
Perform the installation of aeraulic ducts in such a way
that they:
• ensure an upper cover's vertical free movement of at least 20
mm to allow removal (e.g. with fl exible ducting or leaving a suffi cient
"clearance") and provide space for maintaining the unit, accessing and
disassembling any accessories
• do not weigh down upon the unit;
• prevent air recirculation between the machine's intake and deliver
systems;
• are properly protected to prevent accidental introduction of materials
