Product description

Domestic hot water (DHW) thermodynamic production device consisting
of a heat pump and a boiler, with internal Polywarm
for domestic hot water and equipped with standard electrical integration.
The heat pump functions by using particular gases that, when subjected
to compression and following expansion, heat the domestic water by
recovering heat from the surrounding environment, thus ensuring a
high average C.O.P.; this means that only a small fraction of the thermal
energy transmitted to the water is obtained from the mains.

1.4 Constructive features
Steel boiler with Polywarm
• External condenser wrapped around the boiler, free from encrustations
and gas-water contaminations.
• Integrated probes for water temperature check.
• Ambient air probe for automatic activation of the heating element at
temperatures that are unsuited for the heat pump.
• Anti-corrosion magnesium anode.
• High-thickness polyurethane foam (PU) thermal insulation.
• Ecological gas R134A.
• 1.5 kW 230 V heating element.
• Safety devices on gas pressure and water temperature.
• Hermetic rotary compressor.
• Electronic control:
- Water setpoint adjustment;
- Air temperature detection;
- Self-diagnosis with display of alarms for high/low pressure, water
overtemperature, disconnected probes;
- Management of minimum interval times between subsequent start-
ups of the compressor;
- Parameter setting from keyboard;
- ON/Off enabling of the whole unit from timer or external contact;
- Heating element controlled in manual mode or through automatic
integration for low values of the external temperature;
- Introduction of the cyclical antibacterial treatment to remove and
prevent legionella;
- User display to set operating mode and parameters.
1.5 Handling, transport and storage
For handling operations, use means suitable for the
weight to be carried as provided by Directive 2006/42/EC
and subsequent amendments. The handling of equipment
whose weight exceeds 30kg requires the use of suitable lifting and
transport means. To this end, the containers must only be handled
when empty, using the specific platforms or lifting belts.
Since the centre of gravity is high, units must be secured to the transport
surface in order to prevent them from tipping over.
Pay special attention during loading operations; all machines must be
loaded and stowed on the truck interposing proper spacers to protect all
protruding parts (such as water fittings and heating element).
