SAFETY ACCESSORIES OPERATION

PHOTOCELL (COM-PHOT.)
If DIP 4 is OFF - The gate does not open if there Is an obstacle within the photocells
range of action. During operation, photocells work both when the gate
opens (by starting the opening movement again after half a second
time), and when It closes (by starting the reverse movement after one
second time).
If DIP 4 is ON - If there Is an obstacle within the photocells range of action when the gate
is closed and its opening Is commanded, the gate opens (during Its
opening, photocells do not work). Photocells work only while the gate Is
closing (by starting Its reverse motion after one second, even if they are
still engaged).
NOTE: in case this line is not used, bridge the contacts COM-PHOT.
PNEUMATIC MECHANICAL OR ´FOTOCOSTA´ SAFETY STRIPS (COM-EDGE)
The connection of safety devices depends on their very location in the system.
If you want to protect the action range of your gate during its opening and closing cycles,
connect the safety strips to the terminals COM-EDGE.
When the safety strip is activated, the automation reverses its movement direction.
NOTE: in case this line is not used, bridge the contacts COM-EDGE.
SAFETY STRIPS ALARM
In case during a normal operating cycle the safety strips get triggered twice, afyter the
second impulse the gate shortly reverts the motion, and hence.

STOP BUTTON

(Possible serial connection to common contact of end travel switches)
Above connection scheme is recommended when using the automatic operation mode
(DIP 6 OFF).
Operation of the pushbutton STOP causes the gate to stop under any circumstance.
N.B.: This electric board can supply power ONLY TO BLINKERS WITH (ACG7059)
BLINKING CIRCUIT, with max. 40W lamps.
PRE-BLINKING FUNCTION:
- With DIP 5 on OFF => the motor, the blinker and the buzzer start at the same time.
- With DIP 5 on ON => the blinker and the buzzer start 3 seconds before the motor.
BUZZER (Optional)
Current as supplied for buzzer operation 200 mA 12Vdc.
The buzzer emits an intermittent sound signal during opening and closing cycles.
When safety devices are operated (safety edges alarm), the intermittence frequency
of this sound signal Increases.
On power black out
BLINKER
On power restoring
Will remain closed
Will restart the opening stroke
Will remain open. It is possible to operate a closure afterwords.
Will remain, but on elapsing of automatic closure time it will start the
closure stroke
Will complete the closure stroke.
Strips alarm will be restored
Will remain closed
Will remain open, but on elapsing of the automatic closure time, it will
close.
Will remain open. Subsequently it will be possible to drive it to close.

- All inputs shall be used as clean contacts without earthing, because the power supply is
generated in the card and is structured in such a way to guarantee the respect of double
and reinforced insulation to the elements under voltage
- All inputs are managed by a programmed circuit that carries out a self-control every time
the gate is operated.
