Feature Description/Intended Use
The full face masks protect the face and eyes against aggressive
media. Mask spectacles are available for users who wear spectacles.
A welder's protective visor is available for retrofitting full face masks
with metal lens frames.
The knuckled thread piece conforming to EN 148-1 fits for respiratory
filters, powered air purifying respirators, self-contained open-circuit
breathing apparatus and hose breathing respirators. Only use the full
face masks with approved normal pressure lung governed demand
valves, powered air purifying respirators, normal pressure hose
breathing respirators or respiratory filters with threaded connection
conforming to EN 148–1(RA).
Operating temperature: -30 °C to +60 °C

Limitations on use

WARNING
!
Beards and sideburns in the sealing area of the full face mask
will cause leakages! Therefore the full face mask should not
be used by anyone with facial hair of this sort. Spectacle
frames in the sealing area also cause leakages. Use special
mask spectacles.

Approvals
All full face masks of the X-plore 6000 series are designed according
to EN 136 Cl. 3 or Cl. 2 and carry the CE mark. They correspond with
NIOSH directives (USA) and are approved according to AS/
NZS 1716:2012 (Australia/New Zealand).

The facepieces are tested in accordance with 94/9/EC for use in
potentially explosive atmospheres and can be used in the following
zones:
Zone 0, 1, 2 for gases
of explosion group IIA, IIB, IIC
Zone 0, 1, 2 for gases
of explosion group IIA, IIB
Zone 1, 2 for gases
of explosion group IIA, IIB, IIC
Zone 1, 2 for gases
of explosion group IIA, IIB
Potentially dust explosive
atmospheres of zone 21, 22
(approved by Dekra Exam)
