(2) Test with sealed exhalation valve
1. Remove the exhalation valve disk.
2. Insert the exhalation valve test plug.
3. Generate a negative pressure of 10 mbar.
4. If the pressure drop is less than 1 mbar/min, remove the exhalation
valve test plug and insert a new valve disk.
5. Repeat the leak test (1). If the full face mask leaks, continue with
(3).
(3) Leak test under water
1. Immerse the test head including the full face mask with exhalation
valve test plug in the water.
2. Produce a positive pressure of approx. 10 mbar.
3. Slowly turn the test head under the water surface. Emerging
bubbles indicate leaks.
4. Take the test head with the full face mask out of the water, repair
the full face mask, or replace leaking components.
5. Remove the exhalation valve test plug.
6. Install the exhalation valve disk.
7. Repeat the leak test (1).
After Testing
1. Remove the adapter.
2. Remove the full face mask from the test head and dry it if
necessary.
3. Fit the exhalation valve cover so that it clicks into place.
5 Transport
Transport the full face mask in the original packaging or a storage box.

6 Storage
Loosen the harness as far as possible.

Wipe the visor with an antistatic cloth.

Make sure that the full face mask is dry.

Pack the full face mask in its bag or storage box.

Store it in a dry, dust-free place where it will not be deformed.

Keep from direct sunlight or heat radiation.

Storage temperature: -15 °C to +25 °C

Take note of ISO 2230 and national regulations concerning

storage, maintenance and cleaning of rubber products.
Dräger rubber products are treated with an agent to protect against
premature ageing which in some cases is visible as a grey-white
coating. This coating can be washed off with a brush and soap water.
7 Disposal
Dispose of the full face mask and used filters according to local waste
disposal regulations.
