10.5.5 Lift vehicle

1. Group all lifting units into one group.
2. Briefly raise the vehicle, then check the safe vehicle uptake,
and only then lift it to the desired working height.
3. Lower the lifting units to the mechanical safety latches.
4. Switch off the emergency stop or main switch on all lifting
units.

Risk of death and injury due to incorrect operation

Only actuate the lifting unit if there is no risk of harm to people.
◼
When lifting and lowering, no one may stand beneath the load.
◼
The presence of unauthorised persons in the work area around the lifting
station is prohibited.
◼
Passenger transport, as well as climbing the lifting unit and load is
prohibited.
◼
The safe vehicle uptake always has to be checked after a brief lifting. Only
then lift the vehicle to the desired height.
◼
Never overload the lifting unit.
◼
Always keep the vehicle in a horizontal position.
◼
In case of an emergency, leave hazardous area immediately.
◼
Always observe lifting and lowering movements.
