d) Affichage de la pression d'air, régler l'altitude
La station météo ne vous indique pas seulement la pression atmosphérique actuelle,
mais également les valeurs mesurées des dernières 24 heures. Ceci est effectué au
moyen d'un affichage graphique de déroulement (M) illustré en barres.
Lors de la première mise en service, toutes les barres ont la même hauteur
puisque, naturellement, les valeurs des dernières 24 heures n'existent pas encore.
La valeur mesurée de la pression atomosphérique actuelle est affichée.
En réglage d'usine, « 0 » mètre/pied a été réglé comme altitude. Afin que la valeur de
la pression d'air affichée corresponde à l'altitude au lieu d'emplacement, on peut régler
l'altitude (-100 à 2500 mètres ou -330 à 8250 pieds).
Les valeurs de la pression atmosphérique que vous obtenez par ex. à la radio ou
sur Internet sont toujours calculées au niveau de la mer et affichées. Afin que la
station météo puisse calculer ces valeurs, vous devez entrer l'altitude du lieu
d'emplacement.

10. SETTING UP AND INSTALLATION

Once you have started to use the components of the system as described in chap-
ter 9, you can now put/install the base station and the outdoors sensor in a suitable
place.
When drilling or tightening screws, be careful not to damage any power supply
lines, gas or water pipes, as there may be life-threatening danger involved!
a) Base station
The base station can be installed in a suitable place via the stand. This place must
be horizontal, sufficiently large, robust and even, it must furthermore be out of
children's reach.
To wall mount it, there is a corresponding hole on the back of the base station. To
this, the stand has to be taken off first.
The set up or installation site should be selected in a way that the base
station is not in the proximity of heaters or similar. Direct sunlight should
also be avoided by all means (the base station heats up and the air
temperature is therefore no longer measured in the room).
Avoid places where there is a draft (close to windows and doors).
b) Outdoor sensor for temperature/air humidity
Fix it in a protected area outdoors, in a place that is in the shade all day long.
Otherwise the temperature reading will be useless because of the solar radiation.
The same is the case if there is rain or snow on the sensor (in this case the
temperature sensor would no longer measure the air temperature).
Due to the integrated display it makes sense to choose an installation site where
the display can be read, for example, through a window.
Only operate the outdoor sensor with the transparent protective cover on.
Install the outdoor sensor in a way that it is positioned vertically/upright and the
LC display points upward.
