i) Searching outdoor sensor
If the battery is changed on the outdoor sensor, or a channel is changed or if the
reception conditions are difficult, it may happen, that only lines ("- -") are shown on
the display area for the readings
It is possible that the base station is receiving the radio transmission data
of your neighbour's sensors. This can lead to reception problems of your
own outdoor sensor. If this is the case, change the transmission channel on
the outdoor sensor and reregister it.
If the temperature or air humidity ranges are above or below (see "Technical
Specifications") there will also be lines shown on the display again.
This is why you can start the search for an outdoor sensor manually.

Insert the batteries in the outdoor sensor as described in chapter 9. b) (or press
the "RESET" key (18) in the battery compartment of the outdoor sensor) and
set a channel (1 to 5) with the "CH" key (16) within the next 10 seconds. A channel
number must only be assigned once.

Select the set sensor number by pressing the key with the outdoor sensor icon
(4) briefly several times.
If a rotating arrow icon (H) is shown under the number, this means that the
base station is searching all 5 channels.

Start the sensor search by pressing the key with the outdoor sensor icon
for about two seconds. A brief sound can be heard and the reception icon flashes
above the sensor number (G).
Since the outdoor sensor only emits readings about every minute it may
take a little until there is a display on the base station.

The sensor search of the base station takes about 2 minutes.
In order to stop it prematurely, simply press the key with the outdoor sensor
icon
(4) again for more than 2 seconds until a signal can be heard. The
reception icon stops flashing.

e) Eléments de commande sur le capteur externe
15 Compartiment à piles
Placez ici deux piles du type Micro/AAA en respectant la bonne polarité (placez les
piles dans la station météo d'abord !).
La polarité pour positif/+ et négatif/- est indiquée dans le compartiment à piles.
16 Touche « CH »
Après avoir placé les piles dans le capteur externe, on peut choisir dans les 10 secondes
qui suivent le canal d'émission (1-5), en appuyant brièvement plusieurs fois sur la
touche « CH ».
En réglage d'usine, le produit est réglé sur « canal 1 ».
Un changement n'est nécessaire que si vous utilisez plus d'un capteur externe.
17 Touche « °C/°F »
En appuyant brièvement sur cette touche, on peut commuter sur l'affichage du
capteur externe entre °C (Celsius) et °F (Fahrenheit).
18 Touche « RESET »
Le capteur externe est remis aux réglages d'usine. En alternative, vous pouvez retirer
brièvement les piles.
Pour plus de sûreté, la touche est disposée quelque peu enfoncée, activez-la au moyen

d'un cure-dents, par exemple.
