m) Background lighting of LC display
The switch "BACKLIGHT" (12) in the battery compartment of the base station is for
the selection of the function for the background lighting of the LC display:

AUTO: The background lighting is activated automatically for approx. 5 seconds,
eg when the key is pressed or when the IR sensor detects a movement.
The IR sensor reacts to differences in temperature; hold your hand at a distance
of at most about 7-10 cm from the top surface (A) on the top of the display.

OFF: The background lighting is only activated for 5 seconds when a key is
pressed.

ON: When the plug-in power supply included in delivery is connected, the
illumination is turned on permanently. In the case of a power cut (or when the
plug-in power supply is disconnected), is the function the same as with "AUTO".
When it is dark the basic setting on the display is shown inverse (weak background
lighting of the display). However, this can be turned off.
Another basic factory setting is that the colour of the display changes during the
day, depending on the weather forecast (can be switched off):

Proceed as described below for the setting:

Hold the "MODE" key (7) down for about 2 seconds until a tone signal can be
heard.

A "C" appears in the area for the bar display on the display.

By briefly pressing the UNIT" key (6) the display colour during the day can be
switched between:

white
—
light-blue
—
blue
—
Automatic colour selection depending on weather forecast (see above)
If no key is pressed for about 10 seconds, the setting is copied and the setting
mode is exited.

pression de l'air (inHg ou hPa/mb)

Brève pression sur la touche après avoir activé le réglage de l'altitude (par une
longue pression sur la touche avec le symbole de fichier (3) sur la face avant:
Commuter entre l'unité « Foot » (pied) et « meter » (mètre)

Quand l'altitude clignote, appuyer brièvement sur la touche pour régler l'altitude
ou appuyer longuement pour changer le réglage rapidement
7 Touche « MODE »

Longue pression sur la touche (2 secondes) : Active le réglage de l'éclairage de
fond pour l'affichage (sélectionner ensuite avec la touche « UNIT » (6) la couleur
souhaitée)

Brève pression sur la touche : Affichage des valeurs moyennes de la pression
atmosphérique mesurées lors des dernières 24 heures
