i) Switching Pre-Alarm On/Off and Setting It
The pre-alarm is triggered before the actual alarm time („
outdoor sensor (only channel 1) measures a temperature below 0 °C. The time for
the pre-alarm can be set to 15, 30, 45, 60 and 90 minutes.
Example:
Set the alarm time to 06:00 a.m. and the pre-alarm to 45 minutes. If the outdoor
sensor (channel 1) measures a temperature below 0 °C at 05:15 a.m., the weather
station issues a preliminary alarm signal.
First switch on the alarm clock function as described in chapter 12. g) to either
W" or „
S".
Then select the pre-alarm and press the „alarm" button (14) briefly until
„PRE AL" is displayed.
Switch the pre-alarm on or off with the „" (11) or „" (12) button.
If the pre-alarm is switched off, „OFF" is displayed.
When a pre-alarm is set, a time of 15, 30, 45, 60 or 90 minutes is displayed.
Press the „alarm" (14) button until the number displayed (15, 30, 45, 60, 90)
starts to flash. Adjust the pre-alarm minutes with the button „" (11) or „"
(12).
Briefly press the button „alarm" (14) to terminate setting mode.
j) Stopping the Alarm Signal
When the alarm signal sounds at the time set, it may be stopped with the „alarm"
(14) button.
If you do not manually terminate the alarm signal, it is repeated after approx.
8 minutes (this takes place 3 times in total).
