Error diagnosis

If the system components and power supply have been correctly connected, only the green LED
will light up. The yellow and red LED indicate the presence of an error which can be localised with
the aid of the relevant LED.

If the fault is not related to the system's wiring, the proper functioning of the electronics can
betestedbyconnectinga8.2kΩresistortothesensingdeviceinputontheSK41switching
device (terminals X1, X2). If the electronics work perfectly afterwards, the sensing device must
be checked using an ohmmeter. To do so, the relevant cable connecting the sensing device to
the switching device must be disconnected and connected to the ohmmeter.

The resistance must be 8.2 kΩ ±100 when the sensing device is not actuated and must not
exceed500Ωwhenitisactuated.

Error
There is no power; the supply voltage
is too low or has been connected
incorrectly
Sensing device has been incorrectly
connected, actuated or is faulty
Sensing device has been incorrectly
connected, actuated or is faulty

Corrective action

Check connections and supply voltage:
- 230 V AC (or 115 V) on terminals A1, A2
- 24 V AC/DC on terminals B1, B2 or
Tolerance range: ±10%
- Check the connections of the relevant sensing
device (squashed or brittle supply lines etc.)
- Check sensing device*
