during very weak lighting. For adjusting the desired
shutter time see the following table:

When using a lens with video signal controlled iris
(auto iris) adjust the camera to the longest possible
shutter time.
7.4 Back light compensation
The object to be recorded will be underexposed
during back light, i. e. light which hits the lens directly
or diagonally from the front, or if the object is placed
in front of a very light background. In order to avoid
this the back light compensation must be switched
on. Adjust the BLC switch (7) to position ON. With
this switch position the object will be sufficiently light-
ed in case of back light.
7.5 Aperture correction
The contour sharpness of the picture can be in-
creased via the aperture correction, i. e. the contours
are improved. Adjust the DIP switch APT (8) to posi-
tion ON to activate this function.
