matically adjusts to the colour temperature of the
ambient light so that white objects appear in white on
the screen. For the automatic white balance adjust
the 3-way DIP switch "W.B. mode" (5) correspond-
ingly (see following table).
If the automatic white balance is not sufficient
enough, a manual adjustment must be performed:
1) Hold a white piece of paper approx. 30 cm in front
of the camera.
2) Set the 3-way DIP switch (5) to the corresponding
colour temperature of the ambient light (see table).
The colour temperature of outside recordings is
generally 5600 °K and of inside recordings 3200 °K.
Select the adjustment in such a way that the piece
of paper is shown without tinges on the screen.
White balance
at a colour temperature of 3200 °K
(artificial light)
at a colour temperature of 5600 °K
(normal daylight)
at a colour temperature of 9100 °K
(strong sunlight)
7.3 Electronic shutter
When using a lens with manual iris control set the
3-way DIP switch "E.E. mode" (6) to the automatic
electronic shutter (see following table). With this
setting the shutter time is automatically adjusted to
