7.2 Startadresse einstellen

Um das Lichteffektgerät mit einem Lichtsteuergerät
A
bedienen zu können, muss die DMX-Startadres se
CH
für den ersten DMX-Kanal eingestellt werden. Ist
z. B. am Steuergerät die Adresse 17 für die Steue-
rung der Schwenkkopfdrehung vorge sehen, am
TWIST-20LED die Start adresse 17 einstellen.
Die anderen Funktionen des Gerätes sind dann
automatisch den 6 folgenden Adressen (in diesem
Beispiel 18 – 23) zugeordnet. Als nächstmögliche
Startadresse für das folgende DMX-gesteuerte
Gerät könnte dann bei diesem Beispiel die Adresse
24 verwendet werden.
1) Zum Einstellen der DMX-Startadresse die Taste
MENU (4) einmal drücken, sodass im Display (1)
erscheint. Mit dem Drücken der nächsten
Taste nie länger als 8 Sekunden warten, sonst
wird der Einstellvorgang beendet.
2) Die Taste ENTER (6) drücken. Die eingestellte
Adresse wird angezeigt.
3) Mit der Taste DOWN oder UP (5) die gewünschte
Adresse einstellen und mit der Taste ENTER
speichern.
4) Zum Ausblenden des Menüs die Taste MENU
gedrückt halten, bis das Display auf die Start-
adresse oder auf die gewählte Showprogramm-
nummer zurückschaltet oder ca. 8 s warten.
5) Sobald die Steuersignale des DMX-Steuergerätes
empfangen werden, leuchtet die rote LED DMX
(2) und das Display zeigt die Startadresse an.
Der TWIST-20LED kann nun mit dem DMX-Steu-
ergerät bedient werden.
Damit der Lichtstrahl erscheint, den DMX-
Kanal 3 für die Stroboskop-Funktion auf einen
DMX-Wert zwischen 8 und 15 oder auf 255 ein-
stellen und den DMX-Kanal 7 für den Dimmer auf
hell stellen (
Kapitel 10.1).
6) Durch Drehen des Objektivs (10) die Lichtmuster
scharf stellen.
7.2 Adjusting the start address

For operating the light effect unit with a light con-
troller, adjust the DMX start address for the first DMX
channel. If e. g. on the controller the address 17 is
provided for controlling the pan motion of the pan
head, adjust the start address 17 on the TWIST-
20LED.
Then the other functions of the unit are automati-
cally assigned to the following 6 addresses (in this
example 18 to 23). As the next possible start
address for the following DMX-controlled unit, the
address 24 could be used for this example.
1) To adjust the DMX start address, press the button
MENU (4) once so that the display (1) will show
. Never wait for more than 8 seconds before
pressing the next button, otherwise the adjusting
procedure will be stopped.
2) Press the button ENTER (6). The adjusted
address will be displayed.
3) With the button DOWN or UP (5), adjust the
desired address and memorize it with the button
ENTER.
4) To exit the menu, keep the button MENU pressed
until the display switches back to the start
address or to the selected show programme
number or wait for approx. 8 s.
5) As soon as control signals from the DMX con-
troller are received, the red LED DMX (2) lights
up and the display shows the start address. The
TWIST-20LED can now be operated with the
DMX controller.
To activate the light beam, adjust the DMX
channel 3 for the stroboscope function to a DMX
value between 8 and 15 or to 255 and set
the DMX channel 7 for the dimmer to bright
(
chapter 10.1).
6) By turning the lens (10) bring the light patterns
into focus.

8 Weitere Funktionen
8.1 Korrekturwerte einstellen (Offset-Modus)
Zur Feinjustierung der Schwenkkopfneigung und
des Goborads können Korrekturwerte eingestellt
werden. Sollen mehrere TWIST-20LED synchron
über dieselben DMX-Adressen gesteuert werden,
lassen sich z. B. Abweichungen der Lichtstrahlrich-
tung minimieren.
1) Die Taste MENU (4) drücken. Das Display (1)
zeigt
(Address) an. Mit dem Drücken der
nächsten Taste nie länger als 8 Sekunden war-
ten, sonst wird der Einstellvorgang beendet.
2) Die Taste ENTER (6) ca. 5 Sekunden gedrückt
halten, bis das Display auf
Schwenkkopf fährt in die senkrechte Position und
der Lichtstrahl schaltet ein (kein Gobo, Farbe
Weiß).
3) Soll die Schwenkkopfneigung korrigiert werden,
die Taste ENTER erneut betätigen. Soll der Dreh-
winkel für das Goborad korrigiert werden, mit
dem Bedienschritt 4 fortfahren.
Nach dem Drücken der Taste ENTER zeigt
das Display den momentanen Korrekturwert an
(-127 ... 127). Mit der Taste DOWN oder UP (5)
die Schwenkkopfneigung korrigieren. Zum Spei-
chern die Taste ENTER drücken. Das Display
springt auf die Anzeige
zurück.
4) Zum Korrigieren des Drehwinkels für das Gobo-
rad mit der Taste DOWN oder UP auf die Anzeige
umschalten. Die Taste ENTER drücken,
das Display zeigt den momentanen Korrektur-
wert an (0 ... 255).
Mit der Taste DOWN oder UP den Drehwinkel
so einstellen, dass der Lichtstrahl an allen Punk-
ten seines Randes scharf abgebildet ist. Zum
Speichern die Taste ENTER drücken. Das Dis-
play springt auf die Anzeige
5) Etwa 8 s nach dem letzten Drücken einer Taste
wird das Einstellmenü automatisch verlassen.
8 Further Functions
8.1 Adjusting the correction values
(offset mode)
For fine adjustment of the pan head position and the
gobo wheel, correction values can be adjusted. For
synchronous control of several TWIST-20LED units
via the same DMX addresses it is e. g. possible to
minimize deviations of the light beam direction.
1) Press the button MENU (4). The display (1)
shows
(Address). Never wait for more than
8 seconds before pressing the next button, other-
wise the adjusting procedure will be stopped.
2) Keep the button ENTER (6) pressed for approx. 5
seconds until the display changes to
pan head goes to the vertical position and the
light beam is switched on (no gobo, colour white).
3) To correct the pan head position, press the button
ENTER again. To correct the rotary angle for the
gobo wheel, continue with operating step 4.
After pressing the button ENTER the display
shows the current correction value (-127 ... 127).
Press the button DOWN or UP (5) to correct the
pan head position. To memorize, press the button
ENTER again. The display goes back to the indi-
cation
.
4) To correct the rotary angle for the gobo wheel,
switch to the display
with the button DOWN
or UP. Press the button ENTER, the display
shows the current correction value (0 ... 255).
Adjust the rotary angle with the button DOWN
or UP so that the light beam is in focus at all
points of its edge. To memorize, press the button
ENTER. The display goes back to the indication
.
5) Approx. 8 s after pressing the last button the
adjusting menu is automatically exited.
8.2 Anzeige der Betriebsstunden,
Temperatur und Firmware-Version
Die Taste MENU (4) so oft drücken, bis im Display
(1) der entsprechende Menüpunkt angezeigt wird:
zur Anzeige der Temperatur (°C)
im Geräteinneren
zur Anzeige der Betriebsstunden
zur Anzeige der Firmware-Version
(Betriebs system des Gerätes)
Die Auswahl mit der Taste ENTER (6) bestätigen
und das Display zeigt die gewünschte Information
an. Nach 8 Sekunden schaltet das Gerät auf den
umspringt. Der
vorherigen Betriebsmodus zurück.
8.3 Selbsttest
Zum Testen des Gerätes kann ein kurzes Testpro-
gramm gestartet werden. Die Taste MENU (4) so oft
drücken, bis das Display (1)
ENTER (6) drücken und der Testdurchlauf startet.
Am Ende des Tests schaltet sich der Lichtstrahl ab
und die Anzeige
Gerät auf den vorherigen Betriebsmodus zurück.
8.4 Reset
Sollten Funktionsstörungen auftreten, kann eventu-
ell durch ein Reset (Zurücksetzen des Gerätes) Ab -
hilfe geschaffen werden:
1) Die Taste MENU (4) so oft drücken, bis im Dis-
play (1)
2) Die Taste ENTER (6) drücken. Der Schwenkkopf
und alle Steuermotoren fahren in eine definierte
zurück.
Ausgangsstellung. Das Display signalisiert wäh-
renddessen
den vorherigen Betriebsmodus zurück.
8.2 Indication of operating hours, tempera-
ture and firmware version
Press the button MENU (4) so many times until the
display (1) shows the corresponding menu item:
to indicate the temperature (°C)
inside the unit
to indicate the operating hours (fixture hours)
to indicate the firmware version
(operating system of the unit)
Press the button ENTER (6) to confirm the selection;
the display will indicate the desired information. After
8 seconds, the unit will return to the previous oper-
ating mode.
8.3 Self-test
. The
To test the unit, a short test programme can be
started. Press the button MENU (4) so many times
until the display (1) shows
ENTER (6) and start the test run. At the end of the
test the light beam will be extinguished and the indi-
cation
will flash. Then the unit switches back to
the previous operating mode.
8.4 Reset
In case of malfunction, a reset of the unit may elimi-
nate the problem:
1) Press the button MENU (4) so many times until
the display (1) shows
2) Press the button ENTER (6). The pan head and
all control motors go to a defined starting position.
Meanwhile the display indicates
unit will return to the previous operating mode.
