3 Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Das Lichteffektgerät TWIST-20LED ist besonders
für den professionellen Ein satz auf der Bühne und in
Diskotheken geeignet. Durch seine Ausstattung mit
Goborad, Farbrad sowie Stroboskop- und Wackel-
effekten kann es eine Vielzahl abwechslungsreicher
Lichtmuster projizieren. Als Lichtquelle ist eine
superhelle weiße LED (10 Watt) eingesetzt. Diese
hat einen geringen Stromverbrauch und eine lange
Lebensdauer.
Die Steuerung des Gerätes erfolgt über das inte-
grierte Mikrofon, über die Fernbedienung LC-3
(separat als Zubehör erhältlich) oder mit einem DMX-
Lichtsteuergerät über sieben DMX-Steuerkanäle.
4 Montage

Platzieren Sie das Gerät immer so, dass im Be -
trieb eine ausreichende Luftzirkulation gewähr-
leistet ist. Die Lüftungsöffnungen am Gehäuse
dürfen auf keinen Fall abgedeckt werden.

Der Abstand zum angestrahlten Objekt sollte min-
destens 10 cm betragen.
Das Lichteffektgerät auf eine feste, ebene Fläche
aufstellen. Es lässt sich aber auch kopfüber an einer

The wires in this mains lead are coloured in accor-
dance with the following code:
green/yellow = earth
blue = neutral
brown = live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this
appliance may not correspond with the coloured
markings identifying the terminals in your plug,
proceed as follows:
1. The wire which is coloured green and yellow
must be connected to the terminal in the plug
which is marked with the letter E or by the earth
symbol
, or coloured green or green and yel-
low.
2. The wire which is coloured blue must be con-
nected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter N or coloured black.
3. The wire which is coloured brown must be con-
nected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter L or coloured red.
Warning – This appliance must be earthed.
If the unit is to be put out of operation de -
finitively, take it to a local recycling plant for
a disposal which is not harmful to the envi-
ronment.
3 Applications
The light effect unit TWIST-20LED is ideally suited
for professional applications on stage and in dis-
cothèques. Due to its features with gobo wheel,
colour wheel, stroboscopic effects and wobbling

5 Inbetriebnahme
WARNUNG Blicken Sie nicht direkt in den Licht-
strahl, das kann zu Augenschäden
führen.
Beachten Sie, dass sehr schnelle
Lichtwechsel bei fotosensiblen Men-
schen und Epileptikern epileptische
Anfälle auslösen können!
Den Stecker des Netzkabels (13) in eine Steckdose
(230 V~/50 Hz) stecken. Damit ist das Gerät einge-
schaltet. Der Schwenkkopf und alle Steuermotoren
fahren in eine definierte Ausgangsstellung. Das Dis-
play (1) signalisiert währenddessen
ist das Gerät betriebsbereit und lässt sich über ein

4 Mounting

Always place the unit in such a way that a suffi-
cient air circulation will be ensured during opera-
tion. The air vents of the housing must not be cov-
ered in any case.

The unit must have a minimum distance of 10 cm
to the illuminated object.
Place the light effect unit on a solid and even sur-
face. It can also be mounted upside down to a cross
arm. For this purpose tightly screw the supplied sup-
port to the base plate. Tightly screw the support
together with the unit to the cross arm.
WARNING The light effect unit must be mounted
expertly and safely. If it is installed as
a suspended load above persons, it
must additionally be secured (e. g. by
a safety rope; fasten the safety rope
in such a way that the falling distance
of the unit may not exceed 20 cm).
5 Setting into Operation
WARNING Never look directly into the light
beam, this may cause eye damage.
Please note that very fast light changes
may trigger epileptic seizures with
photosensitive persons or persons
with epilepsy!
5.1 Grundeinstellungen
Über ein Menü (Abb. 2) lassen sich folgende Grund-
einstellungen durchführen. Die Taste MENU (4) so
oft drücken, bis die gewünschte Funktion im Display
(1) angezeigt wird. Dann die Taste ENTER (6) drü-
cken. Mit dem Drücken der nächsten Taste nie län-
ger als 8 Sekunden warten, sonst wird der Einstell-
vorgang beendet.
Blackout-Modus ein oder aus
Mit der Taste DOWN oder UP (5) wählen:
Der Lichtstrahl ist immer eingeschaltet.
Diese Einstellung muss beim Betrieb ohne
DMX-Steuergerät gewählt werden.
Der Lichtstrahl ist nur eingeschaltet, wenn
ein DMX-Steuersignal an der Buchse DMX
INPUT (15) anliegt. Sobald das DMX-Steu-
ergerät ausgeschaltet wird, schaltet sich der
Lichtstrahl ab.
Zum Speichern die Taste ENTER drücken.
Drehrichtung normal
oder entgegengesetzt
Beim Betrieb mit zwei TWIST-20LED kann bei
einem Gerät der Dreharm in eine Richtung herum-
drehen, während beim zweiten Gerät der Dreharm
genau entgegengesetzt dreht.

Beim Betrieb mit zwei TWIST-20LED kann sich bei
einem Gerät der Schwenkkopf in eine Richtung
bewegen und beim zweiten Gerät genau entgegen-
gesetzt.

adjustment must be selected when operat-
ing without DMX controller.
The light beam is only switched on when a
DMX control signal is present at the jack
DMX INPUT (15). As soon as the DMX con-
troller is switched off, the light beam will be
extinguished.
To memorize, press the button ENTER.
Pan direction normal or opposite
For operation with two TWIST-20LED units, the
rotary arm of one unit may rotate in one direction
while the rotary arm of the second unit rotates pre-
cisely in the opposite direction.
