Talking between the handset and the
base unit (intercom)
You can talk between the handset and the base unit. You can start the
intercom from either side.
(TALK)
(OFF)
MIC
(SPEAKERPHONE)
(microphone)
When you're done talking
Press (OFF) on the handset or (SPEAKERPHONE) on the base unit.
If no one answers
Press (OFF) or (SPEAKERPHONE).
Note
If there's an incoming call while on the intercom, only the base unit rings when
the RINGER is set to ON. To answer the call, finish the intercom.
To talk from the
handset to the base
unit
Press (INTERCOM).
The base unit rings. When a
person at the base unit answers,
you can talk.
To receive at the base unit, press
(SPEAKERPHONE).
To talk from the base
unit to the handset
Press (INTERCOM).
The handset rings. When a
person at the handset answers,
you can talk.
To receive at the handset, press
(TALK).
