To change a stored name and/or phone number partly

Press (PGM/SPEED DIAL) and display the name
and phone number you want to change by
pressing $ or 4.

Press (ENTER).

Press $ or 4 to make "PGM" flash and
press (ENTER).
The cursor flashes at the first character of the name.

Enter the new name.
If you want to change only the number, skip this step.

Press (ENTER).
The cursor flashes at the end of the last digit of
the phone number.

Press 4 to erase the number, then enter the new number.
If you don't want to change the number, skip this step.

Press (ENTER).
You hear a long confirmation beep and the name and/or the number is
changed.
