The declared noise emission value have been measured in
accordance with a standard test method and may be used
for comparing one tool with another;
It may also be used in a preliminary assessment of exposure.
WARNING
○ The noise emissions during actual use of the power tool
can diff er from the declared values depending on the
ways in which the tool is used especially what kind of
workpiece is processed.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Use the inspections in the table below if the tool does not operate normally. If this does not remedy the problem, consult your
dealer or the HiKOKI Authorized Service Center.
1. Power tool
Symptom
Tool doesn't run
Tool suddenly stopped
Cannot be tilted
Cannot be tilted to the right
Sawblade is dull
Cannot cut with precision
Switch cannot be pulled
Battery cannot be installed
Possible cause
No remaining battery power.
The battery is not fully installed.
Tool was overburdened.
The battery is overheated.
The clamp lever has not been loosened.
Set pin (A) has not been pulled out.
The clamp lever has not been loosened.
The sawblade is worn down or missing
teeth.
Bolt is loose.
The sawblade has been installed in reverse. Install the sawblade in the correct direction.
The operation parts of the tool are not fully
fi xed.
Material cannot be fi xed in the correct
position.
Switch lock is not pressed in enough.
Attempting to install a battery other than that
specifi ed for the tool.
○ Identify safety measures to protect the operator that
are based on an estimation of exposure in the actual
conditions of use (taking account of all parts of the
operating cycle such as the times when the tool is
switched off and when it is running idle in addition to the
trigger time).
Charge the battery.
Insert the battery into the tool until you hear
a click.
Get rid of the problem causing the
overburden.
Let the battery cool down.
Loosen the clamp lever and then tilt the tool.
After adjusting the loosened component,
make sure to tighten it once again.
Tilt to the right after pulling out set pin (A).
Loosen the clamp lever and then tilt.
Exchange with a new product.
Tighten the bolt.
Fully install the clamp lever and side handle.
Remove any foreign material from the fence
or turntable.
In some cases, proper position cannot be
fi xed due to a curve in the material.
Try to fi x a fl at surface with the fence or
turntable.
Press in the switch lock all the way until it
strikes the back
Please install a multi volt type battery.
