Operation

WORKOUT PROGRAMMES

After switching on the machine, the required workout pro-
gramme can be selected with the UP/DOWN buttons. You can
set further sub-programmes (if available) with the MODE
button and the UP/DOWN buttons.
The following workout programmes are available:
Manual
Profi le programmes
Pulse programm
Watt programm
A Manual (MANUAL)
This workout programme lets you determine the level of dif-
fi culty yourself.
1. Select the Manual programme (MANUAL) with the UP/
DOWN buttons and confi rm with the MODE button.
2. If you wish to specify one or several workout para meters,
use the MODE button to select the required parameter(s).
You set the values with the UP/DOWN buttons and con-
fi rm with the MODE button.
3. Press the START/STOP button to begin the workout. This
is also possible if you have not selected a workout para-
meter before.
4. Now set an intensity level (LOAD) suitable for you with
the UP/DOWN buttons.
As soon as one of the preset parameters has counted
down to zero, you will hear an acoustic signal and the
workout programme stops automatically. If you have
preset further parameters, you can continue the pro-
gramme after pressing the START/STOP button.
During the workout, you can increase or decrease the inten-
sity levels (LOAD) with the UP/DOWN buttons. You can in-
terrupt your workout by pressing the START/STOP button.
Press the START/STOP button again to continue your work-
out. If you wish to stop your workout completely, press the
RESET button instead. This will bring you back to the pro-
gramme selection.

B Profi le programmes
(BEGINNER 1–4, ADVANCE 1–4, SPORTY 1–4)
The Profession I programmes offer a selection of 12 sub-
programmes with very different intensity courses.
1. Select the Professional I programme "BEGINNER, ADVAN-
CE, SPORTY" with the UP/DOWN buttons and confi rm with
the MODE button.
2. Now set one of the each 4 sub-programmes (1–4) by
pressing the UP/DOWN buttons and confi rm with the
MODE button.
3. If you wish to specify the workout parameter TIME, use
the UP/DOWN buttons to select the required value and
confi rm with the MODE button.
4. Press the START/STOP button to begin the workout. This
is also possible if you haven`t selected a workout para-
meter before.
As soon as the preset parameter has counted down to
zero, you will hear an acoustic signal and the workout
programme stops automatically.

terrupt your workout by pressing the START/STOP button.

C Pulse programme (CARDIO – 55% / 75% / 90% / TAG)
The intensity level for the Pulse programme is specifi ed
by the computer and is adapted automatically according
to current pulse and set heart rate or programme. The
intensity levels will also increase or decrease during your
workout in dependence on your pulse.
55 % target pulse = 55 % of (220 – Age)
75 % target pulse = 75 % of (220 – Age)
90 % target pulse = 90 % of (220 – Age)
