16. Make sure that the power cord does not hang
over the edge of the countertop or table,
since this can cause accidents, for example
if small children pull on the cord.
17. Do not operate or store the ice crusher out-
doors.
18. Do not use the appliance with accessories of
other manufacturers or brands.
19. After use and before cleaning the appliance,
turn it off by means of the ON/OFF switch
and unplug it from the power supply. Never

oPEration

Use only for crushing pieces of ice! Do not use for chopping food.
Do not use ice cubes made of fruit juice, since they contain fruit acid. Fruit acid gums up the grinder
and can damage the appliance.
1. Clean all parts before using for the first
time.
2. Connect the appliance via the power cord to
the power supply (AC, 230 V~, 50 Hz).
3. Turn on the appliance by means of the
On/Off switch (set switch to I position).
Important: First turn on the ice crusher, then
add the ice cubes.
4. Remove the transparent lid that closes the
filling shaft.
5. Put ice cubes into the filling shaft. If the
filling flap does not automatically open
from the weight of the ice cubes, you can
carefully press the flap downward until the
ice cubes fall into the filling shaft.

clEaning anD carE

1. Before cleaning, always turn off the appliance
and unplug it from the power supply.
2. Do not immerse the appliance and power
cord in water or other liquids.
3. Wipe off the ice crusher with a damp cloth.
You can clean the ice container and the lid
with warm dishwater; however, they are not
dishwasher-safe. Do not use any abrasive
scouring agents, steel wool, metal objects,
hot cleaning agents or disinfectants.
4. If the grinder needs to be cleaned, you can
use a conventional bottle brush.
5. Moisten the bottle brush with warm
dishwater, press the safety flap of the ice
crusher downward and carefully move the
