Do not place any pressure onto the porcelain mixing palette, and fire only one at
a time!
Heat up the preheating furnace at a max.heating rate of 7 – 9 °C/min until 120 °C
(248 °F) and hold at this temp. for 60 min. Then increase the heat at a rate of max.
6 – 8 °C/min to the final temperature of 800 °C (1,472 °F).
• Once the preheating furnace has reached it's final temperature, switch it off and allow
to cool down with the door closed. Once the furnace is completely cool, remove the
porcelain mixing palette.
The porcelain mixing palette should be cool enough to touch. Only remove from
the furnace with your hands.

Do not use metal tweezers or investment ring tongs.
• Rinse the completely cooled porcelain mixing palette with distilled water in order to
remove any potential combustion residues. Polish with 600 grit, wet abrasive paper and
follow the instructions in point no. 4 (preparation for use).
