Starting
The tractor and the SUC-TR
models must always be adjusted,
so that the PTO shaft is straight,
when the blower is working. The
suction blower must be placed on
a stable and horizontal foundation
during operation. The draw bar of
the suction blower must always be
properly connected to the tractor
during the work.
Adjustment for maximum Capacity
Open the slide on the intake nozzle
fully and place the end of the intake
nozzle in the grain.
Then slowly turn the slide on the
intake nozzle from the fully open
position towards the closed posi-
tion.
The function of the slide is to
ensure correct balance between air
and grain.
If the slide is open too far, there will
be too much air and too little grain
conveyed.
If the slide is closed too far, there
will be too little air and the grain will
settle in the pipe system, and may
block the pipe system completely.
The SUC-T models must under no
circumstances work suspended
in the lift of the tractor. Lower the
suction blower, so it is situated
safely on the ground when in
operation.
Start the blower by engaging the
PTO, while the tractor is running
with the RPM as low as possible.
Start up slowly, until the PTO speed
is correct.
In order to avoid settling in the pipe
system, it is recommended that the
tractor is running with max. RPM,
before the conveying is started.
SUC 300:
Just before the pointer of the
blower air regulator enters the red
area the suction head slide is
correctly adjusted.

Conveying
Stopping
It is recommended to stop
conveying by removing the intake
nozzle from the material or open
the slide on the intake nozzle
completely. Run the suction blower
and the piping system clean – then
stop the suction blower.
Even in cases where the piping
system is not clean, when the
suction blower is stopped, this will
normally not cause any problems. It
is therefore also possible to keep the
intake nozzle in the same position
while starting and stopping the
suction blower.
SUC 500/700/1000:
When only the green area is visible
on the air regulator, the intake
nozzle slide is correctly adjusted.
