Rain cover
In case of indoor installation, ensure sufficient supply
of fresh air to the room from which the blower takes in
air, and to the rear end of the motor. This is especially
important in case the blower is installed in an acoustic
booth.
It is equally important that the air stream is guided
perpendicular into the rotor - if this is not the case, the
blowers performance will be reduced.
If the blower is to be moved, a forklift or similar device
should be used. The forks must be long enough to lift
both sides of the blower.
Adjustment of the motor location on the blower
Horizontal alignment: The rotor (A) and suction nozzle
(B) must overlap by 5-7 mm in order to achieve maxi-
mum performance. Even a minor deviation from this
can mean significant loss of performance.
Vertical alignment: Add shims under the motor so the
suction nozzle is in the middle of the rotor opening.
Installation of the pipes
The performance of a pneumatic system is highly de-
pendent on the layout of the piping. It is therefore im-
portant to follow the layout, that has been designed for
the pipe system, for the installation in question.

Electrical installation:

All local factory inspectorate regulations must be com-
plied with.
Check that the electric power supply meets the motor
requirements.
The motor must be protected from overloading by a
protective motor switch, and the supply cables must be
fastened with the cable relief on the motor console.
Loose cables must be as short as possible. Do not
leave them on the floor exposing them to damage from
vehicles running over them, ect.

Service and maintenance:

All service, maintenance and repairs should be per-
formed by qualified or trained personnel.
The motor must not be covered up and should be kept
free from dirt which may reduce the cooling of the mo-
tor.
The motor bearings are lubricated at the factory and
require no additional lubrication. Make sure that there is
always an unobstructed flow of cooling air to the blow-
er motor. If necessary, clean the grid in the rear of the
motor, and keep the blowers air intake free of leaves
ect. that could obstruct the air passage.
Once a year, the following maintenance should be
performed:
Visual inspection of all pipe connections and cov-
ers, to ensure attachment and tightness
Visual inspection of electrical connections.
