This direction for use apply to the
high-pressure blowers: Type
TRL 20/ 40/ 55/ 75/ 100/ 150/ 200/
300/ 500 provided with motor for
3 × 380 V, 50Hz
Safety
Make sure that all screenings are in
order and correctly installed while
the machine is running.
Always stop the blower and the ro-
tary valve before repair and mainte-
nance and make sure that they can-
not be startet by mistake.
Never put the hand in the blower or
the rotary valve while the motor is
running.
Description
The TRL-blowers are chiefly used
for conveying grain and other mate-
rials. However, they can also be
used for many other types of pneu-
matic conveying.
The pressure blowers TRL 55/100/
150/200/300/500 are equipped with
air intake regulators. They are
therefore particularly well suited for
conveying purposes.
The intake regulator maintains a
uniform air volume, even when the
back-pressure varies during opera-
tion. This ensures that the air veloci-
ty suits the conveying and reduces
the load on the motor.
Venturi or rotary valves are used for
introducing material. Blowers and
feeds can be combined as shown
on page 15.
Normally the blowers TRL 20/40
should not be operated without a
venturi. If the venturi is omitted the
motor might be overloaded. In spe-
12
cial cases, however, the venturi may
be omitted provided the air volume
is reduced.
Electrical
connection
Blower
The blower is delivered without ca-
ble and plug. Connection must be
carried out by an authorized electri-
cian. Rotation of the rotor is clock-
wise when viewed from the suction
side. The motor is supplied with
starter incorporating overload pro-
tection. If the motor is not properly
protected, the guarantee es ren-
dered void.
Rotary Valve
The rotary valve is delivered without
cable and plug. Connection must be
carried out by an authorized electri-
cian. The direction of rotation is indi-
cated by an arrow on the rotary
valve. The motor must be protected
against overloading. If the motor is
not properly protected, the guaran-
tee is rendered void.
Check that the rotary valve points in
the right direction. The direction of
the air-flow is indicated by an arrow
on the rotary valve.
The rotary valve can be fitted in the
pipeling whereever it is required.
Several rotary valves can be fitted
in the same pipeline. Material input
can take place through one or more
rotary valves simultaneously.
Venturi
Check that the venturi is pointing in
the right direction. The direction of
the air-flow is indicated by an arrow
on the venturi.
The venturi can be fitted in the pipe-
line wherever it is required. Only
one venturi may be fitted in any one
pipeline. With excessive grain pres-
sure above the venturi or with a
long vertical pipeline, the venturi
must be fitted with a shutter at the
intake.
Starting
Lock the regulator in start position
before starting the blowers. Release
the pointer when the blower has
reached full speed (does not come
into question when the blower is
equipped with automatical regula-
tor).
The air intake regulator reduces the
air volume when locked in start po-
sition. It reduces the load on the
motor when starting.
When working the air intake valve
maintains a uniform air volume,
even when the back pressure
