Service intervals

Service and repair work may only be carried out by Novopress or the authorised Novopress
specialist workshops.
Information!
The next service deadline is indicated on the press device.
This service must be performed at least every 2 years.
Regularly (before use, at the start of the working day) and when soiled
(Fig. 10)
Check for visible damage, material cracks and other signs of wear. If defects are found, do not
use the device and have it repaired.
•
Clean roller drive (12) and retaining pin (5) of the press device. Blow or brush dirt out. Then
lubricate the roller drive (12), its guide (13) and the retaining pin (5) using grease or
machine oil.
•
Clean contacts (15) in the cylinder.
•
The contacts (15) must be free of grease and corrosion-protection agents.
Six-monthly inspection
Have the device inspected by a qualified electrician or a Novopress workshop.
Annual inspection
Have the press device inspected and serviced at Novopress or a Novopress workshop.
the mains plug before performing cleaning, servicing or repair work.
