3 .0 Assembly
The GigaBox GB EC T120 model range allows
a flexible assembly by three possible centrifugal
discharge directions of the outlet adapter (see
Fig.9).
Please pay attention to a secure, durable moun-
ting of the unit as well as a free access to the
terminal box and the motor impeller unity on the
rear of the unit. Easy positioning is made using
integrated crane hooks. Removable panels allow
an easy inspection access.
To prevent vibration transmission to buildings and ducting systems use flexible connectors (included in delivery) bet-
ween EC-fan box and connecting ducting.
- With regard to duct installation, it must be ensured that there is a sufficiently long straight section of ducting
(2x duct diameter) before and after the unit, as otherwise there may be a loss of performance and higher
sound levels .
- The GigaBox must be assembled so that it is freely accessible for maintenance work .
- The installation must be carried out with condensation drainage showing downward!
- The side panels can be removed for cleaning (see Fig . 11)
– Condensate formation
Condensate formation in the unit is almost impossible due to the double-walled thermally insulated panels. Neverthe-
less, condensate formation can be expected in case of very humid media or moisture-containing air. Above all, conden-
sate forms in non-insulated ducts, which can then run into the fan.
3 .1 Installation
The fans are delivered as complete units as standard, i.e. ready to install. In case of a raised installation position (not
at ground level), the unit must be well secured to prevent any movement. In this respect, the wall brackets GB-WK..
(accessories) are to be used. In case of protected installation outdoors, the outdoor cover hood GB-WSD.. (accesso-
ries) and the rain drain GB-RA (accessories).
In case of installation on a level surface, anti vibration mounts SDD-U (accessories) should be placed under each corner
between the casing and surface to avoid vibration transmission.
Pay attention to the correct alignment when assembling the outlet adapter (see Fig. 10).

Dismantling

The complete motor impeller unit is removable without disassembly of the remaining unit components to the rear side.
