rised qualified electrician !

Positioning

The unit is designed for installation on the ceiling inside the building. The intake air and exhaust air connectors are to be
mounted directly in or on the external wall. The wall clearances to the sides should be about equal in size, so that the
supply air is blown into the centre of the room. Care must be taken to ensure that there is a wastewater connection in the
installation area.
The unit must be installed according to the position in Fig. 4. Other installation positions are prohibited.
– Installation instructions:
1. The unit may only be installed in frost-free rooms because there is a risk of freezing. The room temperature must not
fall below +5 °C or exceed max. +40 °C with a relative humidity of max. 90 %.
2. With regard to the positioning of the unit, there must be sufficient space to allow easy access for repairs, maintenan-
ce and servicing or dismantling. In particular, access involves the inspection covers and the possibility of opening
these. The minimum clearances can be found in Fig. 4. The minimum side distance is 750 mm on both sides.
3. Flammable substances must be kept at least 250 mm away from the unit inlet connection.
4. Non-flammable substances must not block the inlet and outlet openings.

Assembly
m
Danger to life due to electric shock!
The unit must be fully isolated from the mains power supply and secured against switching on again before any
installation work or opening the terminal compartment!
m
Danger to life and/or material damage due to the unit falling down!
Prior to installing the unit, it must be ensured that the ceiling and the used mounting components can with-
stand the high weight and vibration of the unit .
A consequence of unsuitable mounting material is that the unit can fall uncontrollably from the ceiling . There is
danger to life due to the high weight of the unit! It can also cause material damage!
Depending on the fixing, a further safeguard must be provided to secure the unit against falling uncontrollably!
The ceiling installation takes place with four threaded rods and anti-vibration fixing elements. The unit connectors
always point towards the wall.
Since it may not be possible to fix unit to the ceiling as desired with some installation types (e.g. due to pipes or beams),
a combined ceiling and wall installation is possible as an alternative with 2 threaded rods on the ceiling and a wall bra-
cket.
Please observe the minimum clearances!
