MACHINE OPERATION (SCRUBBING/DRYING)

1. Start the machine as shown in the previous paragraph.
2. If necessary, press the washing water fl ow control switches (54) as necessary, depending on the type of cleaning to be
performed.
3. If necessary, turn the squeegee adjusting handwheel (23) so that the rear blade touches the fl oor along all its length.
4. If necessary, stop the machine and turn the adjusting handwheel (37); the machine straight forward movement can be adjusted
by turning it clockwise or counter-clockwise.
5. If necessary, stop the machine and turn the machine forward speed adjusting handwheel (38) as shown below:
• Turn it counter-clockwise to increase the forward speed;
• Turn it clockwise to decrease the forward speed.
NOTE
For correct scrubbing/drying of fl oors at the sides of the walls, Alto suggests to go near the walls with the right side of
the machine as shown in fi gure 2.
CAUTION!
Do not allow the brush/pad-holder to operate while the machine is stationary to avoid damaging the fl oor.
