Dear Customer,
Please read this manual carefully to become familiar with your boiler and to get the best results from your own central
heating and domestic hot water system. It will help you to learn about how to use your appliance correctly and keep
up its maintenance. Keep it handy for future reference after you have finished reading it.
A.
The instructions manual is an integral part of the product,
make sure it is always kept near to the appliance. Ask
for a new copy from your local Servicing Centre if it is
lost or damaged.
Qualified personnel only may install or do any servicing
and maintenance work on it.
• The boiler must be used for the purpose for which the
manufacturer designed it only. The manufacturers are
excluded from any contractual or extra-contractual
liabilities for damage caused to persons, animals or
objects, deriving from errors in installation, regulation
and maintenance or improper use.
• Only the manufacturer or dealer may change the
boiler's safety and automatic adjustment systems,
for the whole of its service life.
• This appliance produces hot water it must therefore
be connected up to a heating system and a DHW
distribution network, corresponding to its performance
and power.
• If water should leak out, turn it off from the mains and
immediately call in qualified personnel from the
Servicing Centre.
• If you will be away for a long time, turn off gas from
mains and switch off power by the switch on the mains.
• Empty water from the boiler if there is risk of freezing.
• Disconnect the appliance if there are any problems;
do not try to repair or handle it yourself.
• The appliance should be overhauled at least once a
year, programming it ahead with the Servicing Centre.
• Only for Quadra ie m: ventilation openings are vital
for correct combustion

• The appliance must be used for the purpose for which
it was designed only.
• Do not touch the appliance if parts of your body are
wet and/or with bare feet
• Avoid obstructing air suction and outlet grids and air
vents in the room where the boiler is installed with
rags, paper or other.
• If there is a smell of gas do not use switches,
telephone or any other item producing sparks. Open
doors and windows to air out the room and turn off
the gas stopcock at the mains.
• Do not stand anything on the boiler.
• Disconnect appliance from the power supply before
any cleaning jobs.
• Do not leave any flammable containers and products
in the room where the appliance is installed.
• Do not try to repair it in any way.
• It is dangerous to tug and twist the wiring.
• Do not tamper with sealed elements.
• Only for Quadra ie m: Fumes safety device - The
boiler is fitted with a system that checks whether the
products of combustion are being discharged correctly.
In the event of a fault, it shuts down the boiler. To

return to operating conditions turn the function selector
(D) to
for a few seconds and then move it to the
required position. If the fault remains, call the Technical
Service Centre. This control system must never be
tampered with. When replacing all or part of the device,
only use original spare parts.

The boiler must be started for the first time by qualified
staff.
If you wish to switch on the boiler after that, proceed
as follows.
Open the gas tap under the boiler by turning it anti-
clockwise.
Move the mode selector (D) to
(winter mode)
Winter mode
During winter, move the mode selector (D) to
(winter). The boiler will start producing heating and
domestic hot water (bathrooms, kitchen, etc.).
Summer mode
Move the mode selector (D) to the summer mode
the boiler will only produce domestic hot water
(bathrooms, kitchen, etc.).
Boiler status indicator led (A) is green and flashing at a
frequency of 1 second on and 5 seconds off, this shows
that the boiler is ready to be used (in stand-by).
