There is a LED on the control panel, previously
described as the "Boiler status LED", which changes
colour depending on the operating status of the
appliance: green LED, red LED and yellow LED.
Green LED
- Flashing 1 second on - 5 seconds off = boiler on
stand-by, no flame.
- Flashing 0,5 seconds on – 0,5 seconds off = appliance
temporarily stopped due to the following automatically
resettable faults:
- water pressure switch (waiting time abt. 10 minutes)
- differential air pressure switch (waiting time abt. 10
minutes)
- transitory waiting for ignition.
In this phase, the boiler waits for operating
conditions to be reset. If the boiler does not start
working properly after the waiting time has elapsed,
it stops permanently and the red LED lights up.
- Rapid flashing with brief visualisation, access to the
S.A.R.A. (Automatic Ambient Adjustment System)
function.
Turning the heating water temperature selector to the
range given in fig. 13 – temperature measuring from
55 to 65°C – starts up the S.A.R.A. self-regulating
system: the boiler changes the delivery temperature
by a signal to switch off given by the room thermostat.
A countdown of 20 minutes starts upon reaching the
temperature set by the heating water temperature
selector.
If in the meantime the room thermostat keeps asking
for more heat, the set temperature will be
automatically increased by another 5°C.
Another countdown of 20 minutes begins once the
new set temperature has been reached.
This new temperature value is the result of the
temperature set manually with the heating water
temperature selector and the +10 °C increase of the
S.A.R.A. function.
After the second increase cycle, the temperature
value remains unchanged until the request for heat
terminates and interrupts the cycle.
After another heat request, the boiler will work at the
temperature set with the heating water temperature
selector.
- A fixed green light indicates that the flame is present
and the boiler is working correctly.
Red LED
The red LED steady indicates that the boiler has blocked
due to one of the following faults:
- flame blocked
- ACF electronic fault alarm
- fumes thermostat (Quadra ie m)
- differential air pressure switch (after the transitory
phase) (Quadra ie FF m)
- NTC heating probe
- water pressure switch (after the transitory phase)
Flashing = Limit thermostat working
Turn the programme selector to off-set to start up again,
wait for 5-6 seconds and then turn it to the desired
position: summer or winter.
Yellow LED
Steady = problem with hot water NTC gauge. Only
displayed when boiler in stand-by.
The boiler works normally, but cannot guarantee a
regular hot water temperature.
Call in the Service Centre for a check.
Flashing = "chimney sweep" programme working.
