12. Two options are available during the cell conditioning procedure:
Option Description
Stop
Aborts the measurement and no results are calculated. If selected during the
Replicate Sample option, then all data in the series is lost.
Skip
Stops the cell conditioning and goes directly to the next step in the procedure. Results
are then calculated from measurement data available before Skip is selected. Results
can be less accurate using this option.
13. Weigh the standard in its container and write down the result.
14. When the cell conditioning is complete add the standard. Remove the sample stopper and put the
correct amount of standard into the beaker with an applicable utensil. Make sure that all of the
standard is put into the center of the beaker and that none of it spills onto the walls of the beaker.
15. Put the sample stopper back into the sensor holder. Make sure that the sample stopper fits tightly
into the sensor holder.
16. Weigh the empty sample container and subtract this value from the weight of the standard in its
container (refer to step 13). The result is the exact weight of the sample analyzed. Write down
this value.
17. Push Start to start the moisture content analysis. Calibration data shows on the display.
Note: The moisture content analysis will start automatically after the addition of sample if the Injection
Autodetect parameter is set to Yes.
18. If the default stirring speed needs to be adjusted, push the up and down arrow keys to increase or
decrease the speed.
Note: Changing the default stirring speed can effect the measurement result.
19. Two options are available during the calibration procedure:
Option Description
Stop
Aborts the calibration and no results are calculated. If selected during the Replicate
Sample option, then all data in the series is lost.
Skip
Stops the calibration and goes directly to the next step in the procedure. Results are
then calculated from calibration data available before Skip is selected. Results can be
less accurate using this option.
20. When the calibration is complete, enter the exact weight of the sample analyzed (refer to step
16). If necessary, push the arrow keys to change the value shown on screen. Push Select to
accept the value.
21. When the calibration is complete, push the left and right arrow keys to see the different calibration
views.
22. Push Reject or Continue.
Option
Description
Reject
Rejects the calibration. Select Cancel to go back to the result display or Confirm to
reject the calibration. If this is the first calibration, select Confirm to reject the
calibration and use the default or previous calibration values. If this is a Replicate
Standard calibration, select Confirm to reject only the current calibration in the
series.
Continue Select from one of these options:
• Replicate Standard: Do the calibration again using the same standard
• Save & Exit: Keep the calibration results and exit the calibration procedure
• Reject & Exit: Reject the calibration results and use the default or previous
calibration values, and exit the calibration procedure
